Medical Student, McMaster MD Candidate (2024)
Since graduating from Brentwood in 2016, I have completed a Bachelor's of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from UBC. I was heavily involved in research during my undergraduate degree, and have presented at multiple conferences, received an NSERC USRA for my work, and am a published co-first author. When not in the lab or in the classroom, I worked part-time at a daycare, organized a student mentorship program, and volunteered with organizations such as Let's Talk Science and the Sharing Teens and Elders Project.
Currently, I am a medical student at McMaster University. I am still fascinated by the brain, and now have a newly found love for clinical neurology. My current research interests include epilepsy and improving the rehabilitation of youth in juvenile detention centres.
