After graduating from Brentwood in 2012, Liz went to Queen’s University where she graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. She also spent a semester studying abroad in Tubingen, Germany.
In October 2018, Liz graduated top of her class with a Master's Degree in International Event and Festival Management from Edinburgh Napier University. Her primary focus throughout her program was on large-scale international music and yachting festivals. Her dissertation studied motivational factors influencing individuals' decisions to attend events through a case study on Tomorrowland music festival in Belgium.
Liz then moved to Toronto where she worked in a corporate events agency planning tech conferences, roadshows and in experiential marketing activations, while also working part-time for a yacht-based floating festival. Today, Liz is the Director of Global Operations for The BucketLust and organizes sailing events and festivals around the world
