Masters of International Security, Sciences Po, Paris School of International Affairs

After graduating from Brentwood in 2014, I moved to Reims, France to pursue the first of a dual bachelor’s degree program from Sciences Po Paris Campus de Reims to study Political Science and comparative EU/US Corporate Law. Alongside my studies, I belonged to various University teams and clubs including the soccer team, the Sciences Polémiques English chapter (similar to debate!), and TEDx. Following the two years in Reims, I moved back to my home province of BC to study Political Science and International Relations at UBC to complete the second bachelor’s degree of my program.

To continue my more specialized studies, I moved to Paris to complete a master’s degree at the Paris School of International Affairs to study International Security with a focus on Intelligence and European/North American affairs. On the side of my studies, I was an Events Officer for the Junior Diplomat Initiative at school, an organization that provided students with opportunities to interact with diplomats and international relations experts by organizing networking events and visits to embassies and conferences.

Following various provincial and federal political campaign engagements, I joined the office of the previous Minister of Foreign Affairs Marc Garneau where I started as an intern in the Summer Leadership Program. Advancing in my office, I joined full time as a Special Assistant working in operations and policy. Following the 2021 election, I became a Policy Advisor for the current Minister of Foreign Affairs Melanie Joly and in that capacity I get to help shape Canada’s foreign policy every day!
