Tim Beckmann

Actor, Voice Over Artist, Producer

Tim graduated from Brentwood in 1988. After a couple of false starts at UBC and UVic, Tim attended Gastown Actors Studio in Vancouver. After pursuing Film and TV in Vancouver for a couple of years, Tim moved to London, England and studied at The Central School of Speech and Drama.

After graduating, he began working in theatre, film and TV in London and expanded into Voice over work and producing as well.

He’s done voice overs for dozens of video games including Alien Isolation, The Witcher and The Division. He’s done Film re-voicing for Batman Begins. Casino Royale, Hellboy, Green Zone and dozens of others. He’s done commercials for McDonald’s, Disney, Range Rover, etc. as well as narrating several TV shows including Massive Moves and Dictators Playbook for PBS.

In terms of Film and TV he’s acted in Hanna, Rogue One and more recently Mdway and The Good Doctor. He’s done dozens of theatre productions in The UK, Germany, Holland, Spain and Canada.

He’s produced 4 short films, a feature film, radio programs and a west end stage production.

In 2016 Tim and his family moved to Vancouver and has been focusing his attention on Film and TV acting.
