Peter was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and attended Brentwood from 1983-1987, residing in Privett House.
After graduation, Peter immediately started on a career to become a Commercial Pilot, gaining his private pilot licence in the summer of 1987 and Commercial Pilot licence by the spring of 1989.
Peter began flying Skydivers in Pitt Meadows to gain experience. After getting his Multi IFR endorsement, he started flying corporate charters until the economy slowed.
In the summer of 1991 he hopped in the car with a stack of resumés and drove from Vancouver to Inuvik, then onto Yellowknife. Eventually in the late fall he had a job flying out of Fort Franklin, now Deliné, in a Cessna 172 doing air taxi work. Peter flew in the Northwest Territories for 4 years before taking a year out to travel.
After an around the world trip, Peter received his Airline Transport Pilot Licence and started flying on the West Coast, ending up in the Maldives flying the Twin Otter on Floats. After his return, he flew for Canada 3000 as a first officer on the Airbus A330 until the end of 2001 when the economy again slowed.
With a couple of years out, he was back in School and worked in the film industry as a post production coordinator. He missed flying and returned to the skies in 2004 flying in the Maldives where he experienced the Tsunami of December 26, 2004.
Eventually returning to Canada he signed with Jazz Aviation to fly the CRJ Regional Jet then in 2013 left to Join Sunwing Airlines where he is currently a Captain on the Boeing 737 based in Vancouver.
