Nicole graduated from Brentwood in 2005. Shortly after graduating she moved to Toronto and attended the University of Toronto. She was drawn to Toronto for Sciences, but her path changed after her first year of University where she travelled abroad to West Africa and volunteered for 4 months.

Upon returning to Toronto, she changed her focus of studies into Sociology and African studies. Nicole went on to graduate from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

While in University, Nicole found a passion for fitness and became a certified personal trainer. Upon completing her degree, she started ‘Fitness with Hart’ a personal training company. Nicole trained clients in several Toronto area gyms as well as in client’s homes. During this time, Nicole realized she wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and began her journey to becoming a Police officer.

In 2012, Nicole moved from Toronto to North Vancouver and began her career in Law Enforcement with the West Vancouver Police Department. While her passion for fitness remains, she is no longer training clients.

Nicole spent the first 7 years of her career on general patrol, prior to moving into the community policing section in 2019. Nicole is currently a Constable with the community policing team, a school liaison officer and the secondary media officer for WVPD. Nicole runs the WVPD Canoe program, which aims to foster the relationship between the police and the First Nations community.

Nicole currently resides in North Vancouver, is raising two beautiful children, working full time and is married to Mark, a Police Officer working with WVPD.
