Anna O'Malley

Emergency Physician at Fraser Health Authority

Anna O’Malley is a once upon a time Alex House girl who is a CCFP-EM trained Emergency Physician in her sixth year of practice. Her medical education was somewhat unconventional, completing her BSc. of Medical Sciences at the University of Saint Andrews in Scotland and then her Medical Degree at the University of Manchester directly after finishing Grade 12. She then went on to complete her residency in Family Medicine and an additional year of Emergency Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan.

Currently based in North Vancouver, she has worked in larger Trauma Level 1 centres in Vancouver to smaller, rural hospitals throughout BC and everything else in between. She is passionate about Emergency Medicine and many other adrenaline pumping activities like back- country skiing and kiteboarding.

She is excited to impart her love of Emergency Medicine and share with you her journey so far and the different opportunities Emergency Medicine has afforded her.
