In my role at CPABC, I am an advocate for the accounting profession and the CPA designation and speak to it from a career development perspective.  I can also speak to the connection between accounting and entrepreneurship.  As a career development person, I can present my own diverse career path based on “marketing” and “client service”.  Prior to my 20 years as a career specialist, I worked in business operations for 25 years in a variety of functions, including management, supply chain, ERP software implementation, and business unit management.  I have worked in career development for newcomers, career changers, PSI and HS  students.
