After graduated from Brentwood in 96, I went to UBC to study Science and graduated with Physics degree. Then I went back to China to help my dad with his shoe manufacturing business.
My racing interest started since I was in elementary. My favorite attraction in play land was the Bumper Car. When I moved to Vancouver in 91, my friends were showing me car magazines from Japan, photos of Japanese cars with big rear wings, big wheels, and lowered ride height. Since then, I fall in love with car modifying. Then after I started working in China, I had a chance of purchasing a sports car called Ariel Atom, which is not street legal in China, but I can use it to join qualification races to enter Macau Open. From that on for the the next 15years, I have raced in all kinds of categories, Touring cars, Formula, and GT cars. And for the pass 5 years I mainly focus on a racing series called GT World Challenge Asia.
Racing is not a common sport like running where you just put clothes on with a pair of running shoes then you can run any where any time. In racing you need a lot more, circuit, helmet, racing suit, shoes, car, and a team of people to service you and the race car. I am really glad to share my experiences about this sport, even you can't be a racing driver, you can definitely have a career related to Racing.
Last year I have opened a car modifying shop in Coquitlam called TEAM SELECT. We buy and sell Japanese sports cars from 90s. And of course we modify them like you would see from the movie series FAST AND FURIOUS. For me this is like childhood dream come true
