After graduating from Brentwood in 1985, Eric attended Western University where he studied history, math and business. He began working in the forestry industry in 1990 before starting at Lemare Group, a resource management organization based on Northern Vancouver Island in Kwakwaka'wakw Territory and operating throughout British Columbia.
As President and CEO of Lemare Group, some of Eric’s primary interests are in business development, Indigenous partnerships in resource management, and in general forestry, construction, and engineering services. He’s also gained experience in building some aspects of social enterprise, which have significant tie-ins to the ability to create margins for philanthropic contributions.
