Kilian Berz

 Managing Director and Senior Partner, Boston Consulting Group

Kilian was born and raised in Germany, went to high school in Augsburg and completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Bonn University in 1991. Kilian moved subsequently to England and studied at the University of Oxford where he received an M Phil in Economics.

Kilian joined Boston Consulting Group in 1995 and is now a Managing Director and Senior Partner. He is Global Vice Chair with focus on Financial Institutions at BCG. Kilian led BCG Canada with offices in Calgary, Montreal, Toronto as Managing Partner from 2009 -2015.

Kilian works with many global clients on developing their strategy and creating better outcomes for customers, employees, shareholders and the broader impact firms have on society. Recently, he has focused on how companies can adjust faster to reduce their emissions and help to get to a "Net Zero Economy"

Kilian is passionate about making Canada the best place to live and work; he is active with several charities as part of LEAP which focuses to help small non-profit organization grow faster and help more Canadians Kilian loves biking, golfing, skiing and traveling around the world with his family.
