Angela Li

Angela is a trademark attorney at DLA Piper LLP, based in the firm’s Silicon Valley office. She counsels clients on brand protection, trademark clearance, and obtaining and enforcing trademark rights.

Angela found her way into the intellectual property world first by working for a firm in Japan as an international assistant. She then decided to attend law school to pursue a career in the field. After law school, Angela worked for law firms in Toronto, primarily in patent and trademark litigation. She moved to California two years ago and now focuses on counseling in the area of trademark. Angela is passionate about intellectual property, and is always happy to discuss IP and its increasing importance in the modern economy.

Angela holds a B.A.Sc. in Materials Engineering from the University of Toronto, an M.Sc. in Materials Science from Université Claude Bernard Lyon I, and a J.D. from the University of Western Ontario.

Angela is a member of the Ontario bar and the California bar.
